John Hamilton, Ph.D., is a professor of communication and cinema and broadcast arts, as well as a film and television producer and the owner of Del Rey Communications in Los Angeles. His film productions include work on five continents for a variety of organizations, such as World Vision, Rotary International, and Awana. His feature film, Mary and Joe, has been seen internationally on cable and satellite television. Hamilton has been published in Literature/Film Quarterly, the Journal of Libertarian Studies, Christian Research Journal, and Humanities and Social Sciences Review, among others. He has presented papers at cinema research conferences, Christians in the Visual Arts, Austrian Scholars Conference, the Center for Cultural Leadership, and the International Journal of Arts and Sciences.
