Profile
Kent Anderson Butler, MFA, teaches in the Department of Art and has been at APU since 2002. He teaches photography, new genres, and contemporary art trends, and is an instructor in the MFA graduate program. He has a passion for art and for teaching. Butler's work has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions. In the last five years, he has shown his work at The Pasadena Museum of California Art, The Orange County Museum of Art, Fringe Exhibitions in Los Angeles, Pierogi Gallery in Brooklyn, Photo Miami, Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery in Nebraska, Leband Gallery in Los Angeles, Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica, Remote Lounge in New York City, CAVE Gallery in Brooklyn, Point Loma Nazarene University, Northwest Nazarene University, and SCA Gallery in Pomona.
