Robin D. Blair earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena. Prior to joining the Department of Psychology at Azusa Pacific University as an assistant professor in 2012, Blair taught classes at Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas; Crowder College, Webb City, Missouri; Fuller Theological Seminary; and worked as an adjunct professor at APU for four years. Additionally, Blair has clinical experience in community mental health and hospital settings with a diverse population of clients. She currently maintains a private practice with individuals who desire personal growth, who are experiencing relationship difficulties, or symptoms of anxiety and depression. She brings her varied teaching and clinical experience with enthusiasm into the classroom to create an inviting space for students to explore and apply psychological concepts, particularly as they relate to the Christian faith. With a research background in trauma among care-givers in international settings, Blair looks forward to continuing to “help the helpers” at APU and beyond.
