Students enrolled in the field-based program receive a 50 percent per unit tuition discount which is reflected in the costs below. The total costs for tuition, textbooks, housing, and fees for the Field-based Program are approximately $10,000. The costs for each item and total costs for each term are listed below. Note that food and travel costs are not included. Prices are subject to change without notice.

APU bills ELIC for most expenses, but non-ELIC teachers will need a credit card or check to pay for these services the first day of class each term. Books are purchased in July for the entire academic year (two terms). Non-ELICers will pay $50 1/06 and $85 1/07. International application fee is $65, not $45.
