Jack Carter, M.S., is the advisor for pre-engineering students at APU. In addition to his experience as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry, Carter has over thirty years of experience in the business world. He has been trained in outdoor survival skills from Outward Bound located in Colorado. Carter hopes to offer a course in the fall 2008 that will include Geology, Biology, Astronomy and Environmental aspects of the High Sierras, using the High Sierra landscape as a lab component.
