Profile
Aroldo Solórzano, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Spanish and the study abroad coordinator for the Department of Modern Languages. He has taught at APU since 1994. His area of interest is the Spanish Golden Age, Colonial Period, and 19th century Latin American and Peninsular Literature, specifically the "Modernismo" movement. He has presented at national and international conferences on a variety of topics in literature, Spanish pedagogy, and creative writing. He has published two short stories and is working on his first book, a collection of short stories in Spanish.
