Profile
Juan Guerrero, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Modern Languages teaching Spanish, culture and language, Latino issues, and Hispanic and Chicano literature. He is the founder of a Southern Baptist Hispanic Mission in the city of Brea, Orange County and was the senior pastor until February 2002. He taught at Escuela Hispana de Teología de Los Angeles and Riverside, which are under the Contextualized Leadership Development Program of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, Guerrero was involved in Christian higher education in the Dominican Republic as the administrator of the off-campus college institution of higher learning, program assessment, design, implementation and evaluation, and fundraising in third world countries.
