Profile
Alan Oda, Ph.D, hails from Los Angeles, and served as a laboratory assistant at University of California, Los Angeles’ Neuropsychiatric Research Institute and Hospital and a project assistant at Western Region Asian American Project, Assistant League of Southern California. His previous teaching experience includes California State University San Bernardino (adjunct); University of California, Riverside; University of California, Irvine; University of Redlands; and California State University, Northridge (Intern). Oda currently serves as associate professor of undergraduate psychology at Azusa Pacific University, a position he has held for eight years. Other responsibilities include: national research team member; Faithful Change project; Council of Christian Colleges and Universities; executive director, Asian American Christian Counseling Service; campus minister volunteer; and Asian American Christian Counseling Service.
