Profile
Dr. Charity Plaxton-Hennings is a specialist in Health and Medical Psychology. Her current research interests are in the areas of Eating Disorders and Psychoneuroimmunology. Charity has also worked extensively in the area of trauma and was a trauma consultant in New York City following 9/11. She currently serves on the Western Psychological Association Council of Representatives. She recently traveled to Oxford University as an invited symposium presenter on the topic of Mental Health in Children with Learning Disabilities. In 2003, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Health Psychology.
