APU’s Department of Theater, Film, and Television provides creative space for students to engage learning and explore their potential.
The department pairs rigorous coursework with hands-on experience in areas such as theater performance, critical studies, cinema/television production, screenwriting, and directing. Faculty bring years of experience in the industry to the classroom and teach students to integrate their talent with a Christian worldview in the pursuit of the arts.

Testimonial
“I have come to be a great fan of APU Theater. Through this program, I have seen some of the best theater and music I have ever experienced. The quality is truly remarkable. I encourage anyone who has a love for drama to put an APU event on their calendar. I look forward to seeing many of you at upcoming performances.”
