APU offers a B.A. in Cinematic Arts with concentrations in critical studies and screenwriting, a BFA in Cinematic Arts Production, and minors in Critical Studies and Screenwriting through the Department of Theater, Film, and Television. Faculty bring years of industry experience to the classroom, and combined with rigorous coursework and hands-on learning opportunities, cinematic arts students graduate prepared to enter the industry.
The department also hosts numerous student film projects each year. Student films have won awards at nationally competitive film festivals. APU alumni are working professionals at major studios, television networks, agencies, and throughout the Hollywood industry.
