The Theater Arts major allows students to explore the many opportunities available to them in theatrical professions. In addition to the program requirements below, students are encouraged to add a minor or even a double major in another field. Popular choices include Screenwriting, Art, Business, English, Global Studies, Liberal Studies, Ministry, Psychology, and Sociology.
Program Requirements
*Meets a General Studies core (or elective) requirement.
***Meets the Upper-division Writing Intensive requirement.
^TFT 413 may be repeated up to a maximum of 9 units, but each course must be taken with a different instructor.
^^May be repeated up to a maximum of 6 units. Only 3 units count toward the major.
^^^3 units of private or semi private instruction is an option in for this requirement. Enrollment may be chosen from MUS 111, MUS 112, MUS 118, MUS 119, MUS 211, MUS 212, MUS 218, MUS 219, MUS 311, MUS 312, MUS 318, MUS 319, MUS 411, MUS 412, MUS 418, MUS 419.
