Student Strengths Counselor Training (Beginnings and Alpha Groups)

Leaders: Phil Shahbaz and Laurie Schreiner, Ph.D.

This grant provides resources to enhance the preparation of strengths counselors as peer mentors in the Beginnings class. These Alpha Group leaders will receive special training designed to increase their own understanding of calling and vocation, while giving them skills to assist first-year students in the journey to make connections between their strengths and possible callings and careers.
