Meet the Staff
Tamsen Murray, Ph.D.
Executive Director
I firmly believe that God calls all Christians to service, service that may occur through a career in pastoral leadership or as a professional in medicine, law, education, business, or the arts. As executive director, it is my goal to facilitate the exploration of these opportunities through various programs that will help develop mature and religiously committed leaders for the 21st century.
Doug Stude, M.Ed.
Internship Coordinator
My focus of service to APU students is two-fold: First, facilitating strengths assessment and counseling for transfer students; and second, coordinating grant-funded internships, especially for students with non-ministry majors to explore how any major can be used to serve God.
Contact me in Career Services at (626) 815-2103 or dpstude@apu.edu for information about internships, the StrengthsFinder assessment, or strengths counseling.
Steve Thomas, M.A.
Project Manager
As project manager, I coordinate and administer fund distributions. I value the collaborative way the GPS team seeks to further APU's desire to weave aspects of ministry into every vocational discipline. This distinctive commitment enhances APU's ability to train quality leaders for tomorrow's world.
Before joining APU in 2003, Steve spent 10 years in corporate leadership and 20 years in ministry leadership.
Katrina Golden
Graduate Intern
I graduated from APU in May 2005 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. I spent my senior year working on marketing projects for Career Services and the Office of Christian Leadership and Vocation. I am now an MBA student doing my internship in the Office of Student Success. My main contribution is launching the Omega Project in 2005-06.
