Amy Fox, MFA, MBA, has lived and traveled throughout the United States and overseas, gaining exposure to different cultures, people, ideas, and ways of thinking. These layered experiences have given her a curiosity, a knowing that there are always new angles, new light to be shed, so she selects her materials and processes with this in mind, choosing to let them have a voice. This is part of her invitation to mystery; the tension in creation—giving, and mysteriously receiving in return—is what draws her in. For Fox, creating is an opportunity to explore, test, resolve, anchor, listen, and sometimes speak. It is often more about the process and journey, yet always producing a remnant artifact.
