Armine Nerkararyan began violin lessons at the age of seven in Yerevan, Armenia. Later, she graduated from the R. Melikyan Music College and Yerevan State Komitas Conservatory, where she received her M.M. in Violin Performance, Chamber Music, and Teaching under Alexander Kosemyan.

Nerkararyan received her M.M. in Violin Performance and an Artist Certificate at Azusa Pacific under Charles Stegeman. As a Research Scholar in the Suzuki Method, she holds five levels of certification for teacher training in the Suzuki Violin Pedagogy Method. In 2006 and 2007, she was presented the American Suzuki Institute Teacher Training Award for International Outreach and the Clifford Cook Memorial Scholarship, which is given for demonstrating and understanding the Suzuki philosophy, her significant skill in violin, and a strong commitment to teaching children.

Throughout her career, Nerkararyan has performed in numerous concerts and also appeared as a soloist with the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, T. Chukhajyan Music School Chamber Orchestra and R. Melikyan Music College Chamber Orchestra. She was a member of the Youth Chamber Orchestra and the State Radio Violin Ensemble in Yerevan. She was also the finalist of the Coleman Chamber Music competition in 2008 and has performed in halls such as Herbert Zipper Concert Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Alex Theatre, Aram Khachaturyan Philharmonic Hall, Komitas Chamber Music Hall, and A. Babajanyan Concert Hall.

Currently she is a violin instructor at Azusa Pacific University, Young Virtuoso Music School, and Clavier Music School.
