Biography

A native Hungarian, Eniko St. Clair received her DMA in Choral Music from the University of Southern California, and her B.M. and M.M. degrees in Music Theory/Aural Skills, Music Education, and Choral Conducting at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary. Ms. St. Clair is an expert in developing musicianship skills with the Hungarian Kodály methodology.

Besides her duties at APU, she is the Director of Choirs at the Le Verne Church of the Brethren in La Verne, CA and on faculty at Cal Poly Pomona where she teaches Musicianship and directs the Concert Choir. St. Clair is a professional ensemble singer and soloists with the Los Angeles Master Chorale at Walt Disney Concert Hall and a sought after studio/session singer. As a mezzo-soprano soloist, she has performed in the wider Los Angeles Metro area. As an ensemble artist, St. Clair has sung under the batons of Grant Gershon, Gustavo Dudamel, Esa-Pekka Salonen; Charles Dutoit, Michael Tilson Thomas, Helmuth Rilling, Leonard Slatkin; John Adams; Paul Salamunovich; Frieder Bernius.
