David Adey: Summer Lecture Series 2013

Posted: July 14, 2013

This second conversation of the Summer Lecture Series is with artist David Adey.

Adey’s work is interdisciplinary, full of complex ideas and concepts. The commonality between his varied mediums is a recurring theme of mortality and renewal. According to Adey, destroying things and then building them back up again, are some of the threads that go through his work.
He earned his MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art and has shown at museums and galleries nationally and internationally. His work has been reviewed by such veneus as the Huffington Post, and KCET. David is represented by Scott White Contemporary Art in La Jolla, CA and Luis De Jesus Los Angeles in Culver City, CA and is currently a Professor of Art and Design at Point Loma Nazarene University.

This event will take place on Wednesday, July 17 in Darling 413, West Campus from 7:00-8:30pm.
