Principles of Strength, Conditioning, and Human Performance

The course uses a scientific and integrated approach to the
assessment, development, implementation, and management of
strengthening, conditioning, and human performance programs.
Principles of training variation and periodization are discussed related to
various physical activity and sport. Exercise techniques in flexibility,
core, balance, resistance, reactive, and speed training are explored.
Student prepare for professional certifications through the National
Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and the National Strength and
Conditioning Association (NSCA). Prerequisites: AES 363 and AES 364
