ASL 102

American Sign Language II (4)

Lecture, 3 hours; Lab, 4 hours

This is the second semester course of American Sign Language in a sequence that continues the study of structure, vocabulary, and conversational strategies of ASL as it is used within deaf culture. Meets the general studies requirement for University Skills and Requirements, two semesters of the same language required. Prerequisite: ASL 101 or equivalent or instructor approval (proficiency determined by instructor-administered assessment)
