This course introduces the computer as a medium used for graphic design and art. Design principles are explored in creating and organizing visual communication and ohter media. Students are introduced to graphics software programs such as QuarkXPress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Dreamweaver. Meets six hours weekly. Special fee applies.
