Labor Economics
Units: 3
This course examines the allocation of labor in a society among its various
possible uses. Students consider the role of markets in allocating this
labor, issues of market power, and the role of government policy in
accomplishing social objectives. Wage determination, job search, and
labor productivity are also discussed. Prerequisites: ECON 251 and B or higher in MATH 110
