Urban and Regional Economics
Units: 3
This course combines the disciplines of economics and geography.
Economic interactions among individuals, firms, and governmental units
are analyzed geographically by focusing on central cities, suburbs, and
outlying regions. Within this urban and regional context, this course
places particular emphasis on market forces, land use, transportation,
crime, housing, and local government. Prerequisites: ECON 250,
ECON 251, and B or higher in MATH 110
