Microfinance and Microenterprise
Units: 3
Microfinance and microenterprise development are strategies for
strengthening the economic opportunities of poorer households to
enable families to build assets, provide income, and plan for a better
future. This course examines these approaches in depth and evaluates
the effectiveness of various projects at accomplishing their stated goals.
Prerequisites: ECON 250, ECON 251, and senior standing
