School Neuropsychology I: Foundations and Theory
Units: 3
This course provides students with a research base in contemporary
neuropsychology. Students develop an understanding of neurological
systems that are implicated in academic learning, and the major
neurodevelopmental disorders that affect school-age children and
adolescents. The seminar blends theory and practice in the areas of
school neuropsychological assessment, interpretation, and intervention
relating to school-age children within the school environment.
