Financial Analysis

This course prepares students with the necessary tools of financial statement analysis for business valuation and strategic considerations. The course develops the ideas of ratio analysis and time value of money in discounted cash flows in order to analyze the financial conditions of a business organization. The course also covers credit analysis and corporate finance issues such as merger and acquisition and debt financing. Case studies are used extensively. Prerequisites: BUS 121, BUSI 330, and MATH 151, or instructor's permission, and MATH 110 with a grade of B or better
