This course focuses on bioethical analysis, decision- making and moral policy analysis, and formulation. Health-related cases, issues, and policy are addressed as related to the professions represented by the students enrolled in the course. Health is broadly understood as encompassing a wide range of professional and social issues (such as world hunger, poverty, euthanasia and assisted suicide, organ transplantation, state and national health policy, etc.).
