Research Seminars

This research seminar exposes doctoral candidates to the creation, implementation, and dissemination of a focused research agenda based on the area of specializations of the core faculty. The seminar focuses on reading and evaluating educational research, collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data, and engaging in collaborative research. This course is required of all Ph.D. students beginning their second year of the program and requires attendance at a professional conference each semester. Students take one-two units per semester for a total of six units.
