Designing and Managing Compensation and Benefit Systems
This course provides a solid understanding of the art of compensation
practice and its role in promoting companies’ competitive advantages.
Compensation systems in organization must be linked to organizational
objectives and strategies. Both scholars and managers agree that the
way compensation is allocated among employees sends a message
about what management believes is important and the types of activities
it encourages. With the responsibility of administering compensation
expenditures wisely, HR professionals must balance the interests and
costs of the employers with the needs and expectations of employees.
