This course will utilize APU’s Four Cornerstones to discuss leadership from the Christian tradition. Students will look at the example of Jesus, the ultimate servant leader, and how his followers through history have both succeeded and failed in following his example. Through probing into how Christian scholars have written about and understood leadership, as well as seeking to show that the goal of Christian leadership is to serve God and the common good of humanity, students will have a faith-based benchmark for further studies in leadership.
