This is a course in direct application of principles of diatonic and chromatic harmony as they are relevant to the guitar fingerboard. Students must have a thorough knowledge of reading music and a basic understanding of fundamentals of harmony and how chords are constructed. Prerequisites: must be a guitar major (B.M.), MUS 121 and MUS 122, or instructor’s permission
