This course provides a review of the fundamentals of psychological assessment; the administration, scoring, and interpretation of objective instruments for the clinical assessment of personality; and professional report writing. Instruments to be studied include the Minnesota Multiphasic Inventory II and the Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory III. Cultural issues in the interpretation of psychological tests are addressed. This course includes a mandatory lab for practice in administration, scoring, and interpretation of assessment devices.
