This course ends a two-course sequence that provides the foundation for social work practice with individuals and families. Content includes goal-setting and contracting, planning and implementing change strategies, linking change strategies to theory and evidence-based practice research, medication use, interdisciplinary collaboration, resource development, advocacy, managing barriers to change, and practice evaluation. Prerequisite: SOCW 514.
