Diagnostic and Prescriptive Intervention for Students with Moderate/Severe Disabilities
This course provides candidates with the knowledge and skills about
assessment procedures and remediation strategies to support students
with moderate to severe disabilities. The student develops skills by
gathering information from a variety of formal and informal sources.
Each candidate demonstrates knowledge of principles and strategies of
assessment, curriculum, and instruction, and utilizes assessment data to
develop IEP goals, objectives, adaptations, and instructional plans.
