Literacy and Reading Instruction for Students with Moderate to Severe Disabilities
Units: 3
This course addresses the components of literacy for all children including
English-language learners. Candidates study current reading research,
assessment, instructional strategies, and activities. The emphasis is on
research and practice (i.e., content and pedagogy). Diagnostic, differentiated
instruction and applications for the RICA exam are also addressed.
