This course provides more advanced gifted and talented education (GATE) instructional practices and techniques, including an in-depth study of current practices in parallel curriculum planning, collaborative, cross-curricular plan, and implementation of higher order instructional thematic units appropriate to gifted and talented learners. It is also appropriate for graduate students in other programs, including teachers, counselors, and administrators who are interested in understanding basic instructional strategies and related educational needs of gifted and talented children and youth.
