This is a basic course on the teaching and identity of Jesus, the birth of the church, the early missions movement, and the cornerstones of Paul’s theology. The primary source material is Luke-Acts, the parables of Jesus, and other readings in the New Testament. Emphasis will be placed on Christian themes such as joyful giving, the role of the Holy Spirit, and justification by faith. Prerequisite: GTHE 524 (M.A.T.F. only)
