Advanced sequencing techniques, orchestral simulation, advanced editing and automated mixing, synthesizer program editing, system exclusive and program editor/librarian software are covered. The course provides an introduction to MIDI/digital audio hybrid systems and synchronization using LTC, VITC, MIDI clock, and MIDI Timecode. Students complete a large project using these techniques.
