Earth Science (formerly PHYC 180)

Students survey the physical characteristics of the Earth and the forces acting upon it. The course includes consideration of the Earth’s place in space; the nature of its crust and interior; the processes that affect its structure; and humanity’s role in the processes. Meets the general studies core requirement in Nature.
