Content focuses on macro-level theories and case examples relevant to social work practice involving communities and organizations. Models of practice with social welfare organizations (child welfare, education, health, aging, corrections) and diverse communities are be examined. Roles and responsibilities of religious institutions in meeting social needs are also explored. Prerequisite: Micro-Theory and Human Development.
