This course describes social, emotional, and mental health problems experienced by children and adolescents, and discusses play therapy and other forms of intervention to improve functioning and wellbeing. Different adolescent risk behaviors and related treatment strategies are presented. Secular and Christian counseling perspectives are integrated throughout the course. Prerequisites: Practice I; Practice II; Micro-Theory and Human Development.
