This course presents different theoretical approaches and treatment strategies associated with clinical social work practice with groups. Topics of group development stages, leadership principles, diversity issues, distinctions between voluntary and involuntary groups, and evaluation methods are presented. Content includes leadership of informal small groups and their relevance to clinical practice. Prerequisites: Practice I; Practice II; Micro-Theory and Human Development.
