Student Teaching Seminar (7-12)

The purpose of the seminar is to discuss problems common to student teachers in 7-12 classrooms, address individual concerns, and readdress legal issues. The course culminates in the presentation of a professional teaching portfolio completed throughout the credential program. Extensive use is made of outside resource people. Prerequisites: students must be admitted to the Teacher Education and Single-Subject Credential Programs. A school placement for student teaching is required for enrollment. This course is offered for students who have a applied and have been cleared for student teaching prior to the beginning of this class. Prerequisite: admission to Single-Subject Credential Program; corequisites for single-subject credential students: TEP 548 and TEP 578B
