Students gain the skill of designing contemporary theater sets while analyzing the work of other designers, practicing various design techniques, and gaining a vocabulary needed to communicate with directors and other theater artists effectively. They also gain understanding of the moral issues pertaining to theater design. Course may be repeated for up to 6 units toward graduation.
