Restorative Nursing
Units: 3
Lecture, 2 hours; Practicum, 12 hours for a 7-week rotation

This course enables the student to focus on integrating biological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of an adult or geriatric client with a long-term health problem. The mental health and spiritual concepts are emphasized. Students are assigned to a rehabilitation or restorative setting. Prerequisites: BIOL 220, PSYC 110, PSYC 290, UNRS 105 or UNRS 270, UNRS 210; UNRS 212, UNRS 220, UNRS 260, UNRS 314, and UNRS 367; corequisite: UNRS 306
