Maureen Taylor

Maureen A. Taylor serves as senior director of strategic communication at Azusa Pacific University. In that role, she leads the strategic communication team in content development and media, public, and community relations efforts; advances the institution’s mission and purpose, as well as the university’s culture of scholarship, through intentional messaging in strategic communication endeavors; builds and extends the university’s identity and reputation in the academy, in the local community, and among California’s elected officials; and provides strategic counsel for a broad range of communication functions to the administration, including crisis and issues management.

In addition, Taylor’s organizational development experience includes work for Boeing, while marketing communications contract work spans several industries, namely health care, technology, and preparatory and higher education.

Taylor holds a Master of Arts in Human and Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from Azusa Pacific.
