Books by the best-selling author will be available for sale.
In his talk, “Defending Christianity for Science: Answering the New Atheism,” Dinesh D’Souza will address the motivation behind the new atheism movement, and what believers can do to counter it. Among his talking points, he will discuss the atheist argument that people don’t need God to be good, and share his thoughts on how Christianity shaped the values that even atheists cherish. D’Souza will also touch on two remarkable findings of modern science that point to God, and discuss how science too is based on faith.
The Science, Faith, and Culture Lecture Series brings lecturers to campus to discuss contemporary issues in science and religion in order to educate students and the community on the evidence for God’s handiwork in the universe, and to equip Christians to defend their faith through science.
