How often are courses offered?
Classes are offered five times per year.
How many terms per year?
There are five terms: Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, Spring II, and Summer.
How long are the terms?
Each term is nine weeks long.
How many courses should I take during each term?
Students typically enroll in one or two each term.
How long does it take to complete the program?
The coursework can be completed in 15 months, depending on how many
courses a student takes each term.
What are the prerequisites?
To enroll in the LIB Credential Program, the student must hold a teaching credential.
What are the computer requirements?
Please refer to the most recent graduate catalog for up-to-date information
on computer requirements.
What is the cost involved?
The LIB Credential Program costs are the same as those incurred for other credential
programs:
$510 per unit for the 2008-09 academic year. There is also a $40 per unit online delivery
fee for each online class.
Is financial aid available?
Teacher Librarian Services Credential students are subject to undergraduate Stafford
Loan limits. Please check with a financial counselor for more information on
eligibility.
