Will I have to complete any part of my Online School Librarianship program at an APU campus location?
No. You can complete your school librarianship program entirely online. No campus visits or meetings are required.
How do I get started?
Online programs may include requirements, procedures, and policies unique to the university's more traditional programs. For more information on how to get started in an APU online program, please contact one of our recruitment counselors at (800) 825-5278 or at graduatecenter@apu.edu.

All courses are offered in accelerated nine-week semester terms in fall and
spring. For summer, the term is six weeks.
How many students will be in my classes?
In order to create a dynamic online environment, average
class size in this program ranges from 12–15 students.
Does APU require theses, dissertations, or capstone projects?
No, this program does not require a thesis, dissertation, or capstone project.
However, a research project is required in the final course.
How soon can I finish this program?

“APU’s small classes help professors facilitate meaningful discussion and collaborative work among students. One of the professors literally wrote the book on strengths-based education, a revolutionary approach for me. Learning this concept of focusing on strengths has been the single most significant aspect of my education, and is something I have already begun to implement on my campus. When I become an administrator, this will be an integral part of my leadership philosophy.”
