Song (Chris) Yoon, Ph.D.

Profile
Dr. Yoon has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Purdue University in Indiana. His specialties include psychological aspects of teaching and learning, research methods, thinking skills, and gifted and talented education. He has taught 5th grade students in the Hacienda/La Puente Unified School District before he became a Biola University faculty member. After working for four years at Biola, he opened his own clinic and started teaching at California State University, Northridge. He is actively involved in the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children, organizing professional development programs for teachers and gifted students. Dr. Yoon is also an ordained minister, working part time at a local church. He and his wife, Gina, have two daughters, Stephanie and Katie.
